What to bring

Weather conditions and temperatures vary throughout the year and, as is common in high country, sometimes even in a day. Be prepared for anything from summer sun to sleet and below-zero windchill temperatures, which is best achieved with layered clothing. You can travel light, since you have the chance of laundry service twice during your journey. A hat, sunscreen and sunglasses are always useful, as is swim gear. During spring and fall warm headgear and gloves are essential. Natural colors for your outdoor clothing are preferable. Dress code is informal throughout, long trousers / skirts and a polo shirt or shirt / blouse at dinner is recommended. A pair of good binoculars comes in handy, but you will be provided quality optics for all your outings. If you are a keen wildlife photographer you can bring all your gear with confidence, since ample stowage space during transportation is provided.

A comprehensive packing list will be provided upon booking!
